Chariot

The first chariot in history probably looked like this and was feared in war.

Here you can see one of the first chariots in history. A depiction of a light single-axle chariot was found on a terracotta relief.

In reports on the Battle of Megiddo between Egyptians and Hyksos in 1457 BC it was mentioned for the first time that chariots led to victory. Other depictions also show two-axle vehicles that may have served as transport or procession carriages.

The film „Ben Hur“ shows the most famous chariot race with a light chariot like this. Back then, it was an extremely dangerous weapon.
